Gnathology is a branch of dental medicine that deals with the study and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders, as well as issues related to chewing, dental occlusion, and cranio-cervical posture.

Gnathology focuses on analyzing mandibular movements, the structure and function of the teeth, and the relationships between the jaw, the skull, and the rest of the body.
Gnathology includes diagnosing and treating conditions such as malocclusion, bruxism, temporomandibular joint arthritis, and other disorders related to chewing function and occlusal balance.
Gnathology is crucial in treating disorders related to malocclusion and dental bruxism.
These symptoms, which go beyond simple oral discomfort, can affect surrounding muscles, causing pain that radiates from the jaw to the neck, head, and even shoulders.
To address this issue effectively, physiotherapy sessions are integrated with customized bite therapy.
