Removable braces

For years, removable orthodontic braces have been the traditional solution for children and adolescents.
During this period of natural jaw growth, they guide the teeth and bone structures into the correct position gently.

There are different types of removable braces suited to various needs, such as the plate, the activator, and the bionator.
It is essential to wear these devices for at least 12 hours a day to achieve optimal results.
Orthodontic check-ups are needed approximately every 4 weeks to adjust any expansion screws integrated into the device, maintaining pressure on the dental arches.

Key points to keep in mind:

  • Success depends on consistently wearing the braces! It’s important for parents to keep motivating their children to stay focused on the goal.
  • Avoid wearing the braces during meals; it’s crucial to keep both the teeth and braces clean to prevent cavities.

Store the braces in their designated case when not in use to avoid damage or loss.
